Domain Checker

Complete email health report for a domain: DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, blacklists.

About the Domain Checker

A domain health check reviews everything receivers look at before they trust your mail: name servers, MX records and their IPs, reverse DNS, SPF and its lookup count, DKIM keys, DMARC policy and reporting, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, BIMI and blacklist status.

Every item is marked pass, warning, fail or unknown, and the score only counts what could actually be verified. Fix the failed items first — they have the biggest impact on deliverability.

What is checked?

Name servers, SOA, MX records, reverse DNS, SPF (with lookup count), DKIM selectors, DMARC policy and reporting, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, BIMI, DNSSEC, SMTP & STARTTLS on the primary MX, domain and IP blacklists, and domain age.

Frequently asked questions

What does a domain health check test?

DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS reporting, BIMI, DNSSEC, reverse DNS, SMTP and TLS on your mail servers, and domain and IP blacklists.

What is a good score?

Aim for 90 or more with no failed checks. Any failed critical check caps the score below 50, because a single serious problem can stop delivery.

Why are some checks unknown?

Some tests depend on remote servers that may time out or refuse lookups. Unknown checks are never counted as a pass.

How often should I check my domain?

After every DNS or mail-provider change, and regularly if you send marketing email. Blacklist monitoring can check for you automatically.
